Need a boiler service? You’ve come to the right place! We can service all types of boilers and heating systems. Keeping your boiler regularly serviced ensures that it is working safely and efficiently. If your boiler is not working correctly and struggling to maintain heat or hot water, you may find that your energy bills increase. More importantly, during the boiler service the engineer will check there are no leaks, which could cause carbon monoxide to escape, potentially causing harm to

What is included in a gas boiler service?
A comprehensive boiler service should last at least 30 minutes, includes a in line with Gas Safe regulations. On the day of the appointment, we will ask for someone to be available to show where the boiler is, plus the location of anything else you would like our engineer to check. You can expect our engineer to remove the boiler casing to look inside and check the carry out some maintenance, for example, removing dirt or debris.​
Boiler models can vary, but here’s our basic checklist for a gas boiler service:

Visual check of the boiler and flame (where possible)

Check the operating pressure and/or heat input

Remove boiler casing to check all main components, i.e. burner, primary exchanger, spark/sensor probe

Who should carry out a gas boiler service?
A gas boiler service should be carried out by a Gas Safe engineer, whilst oil boiler services should be carried out by OFTEC registered engineers.​
What does a boiler service not include?
If a problem is identified during your boiler service, our engineer will discuss this with you and provide a no obligation quote for the additional parts and labour. If possible, we will fix the problem during the service appointment, or we will schedule another time to return and fix the issue. If your boiler is too faulty or dangerous to fix, we will recommend boiler replacement and will recommend the most suitable models.​
What if my boiler is faulty?
If your boiler is not due a service, but you are worried that it is not working correctly, it may require a boiler repair instead. Our engineer will inspect the boiler and diagnose the issue straight away.
